MEG source montages for rapid and efficient evaluation of epileptic spikes

A new paper to be published in Clinical Neurophysiology describes how standardized BESA source montages applied to magnetoencephalography data facilitate the review of epileptiform data, significantly shortening analysis time and also increasing efficiency of review – not only was it more convenient and faster to carry out review using the data reduction provided by the 29-channel source montage, but the review in source space also indicated more spike clusters than were identified during review of the sensor space data.
