BESA 5.2.4.48 / 5.2.4.49
BESA 5.2.4.48 / 5.2.4.49 is the latest release of the BESA 5.2 series. It provides the the following new features compared to the former versions. A detailed introduction to the new features is given in the BESA Help Chapter 'What's new in BESA 5.2.4'.
- Function key assignment: Function keys can be assigned to batch functionality. Thus, commonly applied complex sequences of actions can be applied with a single key press.
- New tutorial and pre-defined batch functions for pattern search and spike analysis in epilepsy: BESA now installs with a set of default function key assignments that link to batches and montage settings that substantially simplify the detection, averaging, and source analysis of EEG patterns, like e.g interictal epileptic spikes. These new options are demonstrated in the new BESA tutorial on the analysis of epileptiform EEG activity, which is available for download here.
- New batch commands have been implemented that extend the wide range of actions that can be automatized.
- Revised DSA window: New montage and paging options allow for a more customized display of the frequency content of the data.
- Updated data readers for various EEG and MEG data formats
- Image export: 3D source images can be exported to BrainVoyager *.vmp format now both in original image resolution and in 1mm3 resolution.
