EEG segments or averaged data can be displayed in the top viewer of the ERP module. Arbitrary montages can be displayed. Multiple conditions and channels can be selected and shown in overplot mode.
In this case of an auditory P3 paradigm, averaged brain responses to target and standard stimuli are superimposed. A virtual reference-free montage has been selected for display, and some additional original scalp channels are shown on the right for comparison. It is obvious both from the topographic view and the channel overplot that the target stimuli (black) evoke a strong P3 component that is not present in the standard condition (red). The map of the P300 component shows the characteristic vertex positivity.
Peaks can be automatically detected and tables of peak amplitudes and latencies generated. Click on any waveform to obtain a 3D map and drag time bar to view a movie.
Waveforms are displayed in topographic or regular arrangements and can be shifted, sized, segmented, or zoomed. Numerous options allow for the setting of optimal viewing preferences. Bitmap output is available for direct export of the display, e.g. for publications.
