The BESA protection key (“dongle”) contains the license information, i.e. the dongle determines which program (e.g. BESA Research or BESA Epilepsy) and which program modules can be accessed. It also contains a possible expiration date of your BESA license. Changes to this information (e.g. after you purchased an upgrade or a new module) can be applied electronically using a License Update file. You can download this file for your dongle here. If you encounter any problems, please use our web-interface for support and bug-reports: Support form.
Step 1: Enter your dongle serial number
Please provide the serial number of your dongle in the field below (leave out leading zeros). You can find the serial number printed on the dongle itself or on the label attached to it. For the new HASP dongles, you can click here to get a list of all dongles currently connected to a computer in your network (this requires the HASP run-time environment that is installed with BESA Research).
